Alexa von Tobel is the founder of LearnVest, the co-founder of Inspired Capital and a New York Times best-selling author. Alexa is a Certified Financial Planner with expertise in personal finance, business finance and venture capital.
At the age of 22, Alexa dropped out of Harvard Business School and bootstrapped LearnVest. She eventually sold it to Northwestern Mutual for $375 million in 2015. In 2019, Alexa founded $200M venture capital firm, Inspired Capital.
Alexa has been included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 List, selected as one of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women and included in their 40 Under 40 List. She’s also been named as one of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders and listed on Inc Magazine’s 30 Under 30.
